HOW IT STARTED

Two friends, one wild idea

In 2018, Amara and Josh were grinding through corporate jobs in London and Nairobi. They booked a two-week safari on a whim — expecting a nice holiday, not a complete life overhaul.

Somewhere between a 4am game drive and a night spent listening to hyenas circle their tent, something clicked. The big-budget safari industry was built for older, wealthier travelers. But the people who would love this the most — young, curious, adventurous — were being priced out or stuck on cookie-cutter tours.

So they quit their jobs, pooled their savings, and launched Wildpath in 2019 with a single 8-person trip to Kenya. The idea was simple: authentic, raw safari experiences designed for travelers in their 20s and 30s. No luxury resorts. No tourist traps. Just the bush, a small crew, and the kind of moments that rewire your brain.

Small by design

Max 8 travelers per group. That's it. Small enough to share a campfire, tight enough to build real friendships. No megabus energy — just people who actually want to be there.

Wild over luxury

Bush camps, not resorts. We sleep where the action is — mobile tents in the middle of migration corridors, fly camps under the stars. Hot showers, yes. Infinity pools, no.

Give more than we take

10% of every booking goes directly to community-run conservation projects. We work with local partners, hire local guides, and make sure the places we visit are better off because we were there.
